Fully aluminum frame
The Caractère collection draws its strength from the frame. All components of the frame are made of aluminum, such as the inner structure and the opening system.

Sunbrella® PLUS Marine
All materials for the Caractère parasol fabrics for outdoor use are made from solution-dyed acrylic yarns from the Sunbrella® PLUS Marine collection.
Performance
The yarns are made of solution dyed acrylic. This means that the color of the fabric runs completely through the yarn. The color is added to the liquid solution in which the yarn is extruded. Only mass dyed fabrics retain their color and are resistant to fading from exposure to UV rays when exposed to the sun.
Stain resistant and waterproof
All fabrics have a surface finish that makes the fabric water- and stain-repellent. A coating on the back makes the fabric waterproof, mold-resistant, and minimizes drying time.
Steel base
All bases from the Caractère collection are designed and made in Belgium. They are made of thermally galvanized steel plates with a thickness of 15 mm. The base has four elegant wheels that can rotate 360°, each with a brake to keep the umbrella in place. The wheels are already mounted on the base.
